Vitulus is Latin for Bull Calf, another subtle reminder of the Reschke's family cattle grazing heritage, that started in 1906.
Vitulus provides an entry level to the Reschke premium range of Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon. The Vitulus fruit is sourced from our younger, lower yielding vines, which have been earmarked to produce some of Reschke's finest. The wine is matured for 24 months, in 2-3 year old French oak. The result is a wine displaying balance and finesse with a softness marking for an approachable early drinking style.

Description
Umberto Fiore Moscato d'Asti is an aromatic semi-sparkling wine with half the carbonation of a typical sparkling wine. Extremely aromatic with a famously complex perfume, Moscato d'Asti has a mild level of sweetness, counterbalanced by vibrant acidity. The fruit is soft pressed on arrival at the winery and then kept in a tank at a temperature of 0°C (32°F) until there is a demand for the wine. A cool fermentation via the cuve close method finishes the wine until it reaches an alcohol content of 6.5%, at which point the remaining yeasts are filtered out and the wine is bottled. This preserves a slight residual sugar in the wine, as well as its freshness, with a gentle effervescence. The style is crisp, fresh and lavishly fruity with vivid acidity to enhance the slight sweetness.
Extremely aromatic with a famously complex perfume, Moscato d'Asti has a mild level of sweetness, counterbalanced by vibrant acidity.

CRIANZA
Made from Tempranillo and Garnacha grapes, reminding of red and black berries with hints of vanilla, chocolate and licorice that blend with fine, smoky final notes.
VARIETIES
80% Tempranillo and 20% Garnacha from our own vineyards in Badarán.
TYPE OF PRODUCTION
This product stays in American oak barrels with a toasty background for 12 months and rests for another 12 months in the bottle before being released to the market.
TASTING NOTES
- Appearance: Bright cherry red with maroon hues. Clean, with upper-middle robe
- Aroma: Aromas of red and black berries with aging notes, vanilla, balsamic chocolate and a varietal background.

Introduction of brewing
Shinozaki Brewery is known throughout Japan for its high-quality and delicious sweet liquor. However, during the severe Kyushu disaster in 2017, the entire brewery suffered a devastating blow. All wine-making tools were destroyed by floods and mudslides. As soon as possible, the delicious sweet wine that is waiting in Japan is restored. All local people and the media have come to help the reconstruction of the brewing. The reconstruction was completed in less than a year, and they continue to adhere to the rigorous fine winemaking technology to produce amazing wine and liqueur.

THE WINE
The highest quality wines from the 2015 harvest were carefully selected and blended to create Sandeman's 2015 Late Bottled Vintage Porto. Aged for around four years, this wine was bottled without filtration, in the accustomed manner for a single harvest wine.
TASTING NOTES
A deep ruby colour. This wine has an intense and complex aroma with notes of red and black fruit, forest floor, heather, spices and a slight minerality. On the palate, it has good volume, firm and powerful tannins, an integrated acidity, further notes of red and black fruit and a very harmonious and balanced finish.
HARVEST YEAR
2015 was a dry year for the majority of the vegetative cycle, the month of March receiving 50% less rainfall than usual. Between April and May, the average temperature was higher than average. Three heatwaves were recorded in June and July, with temperatures exceeding 40ºC, and this impacted on the vine and the maturation of the grapes. The weather conditions delayed the vegetative cycle by around 1-2 weeks.

WINEMAKING
Produced using traditional Port Wine technology. After soft-crushing and destemming, alcoholic fermentation with gentle maceration took place via treading in traditional granite lagares at controlled temperatures, in order to extract the quality inherent in the grapeskins.
MATURATION
After the harvest, the wine remained in the Douro. It was transported to Vila Nova de Gaia the following spring, where it was aged in the traditional manner in oak casks. During this period, the wine was subject to frequent racking, tests and analysis to monitor its evolution. The final blend was made after careful selection of those wines with the characteristics required of a Sandeman Late Bottled Vintage.
STORE
Store in a horizontal position away from light and heat. It is envisaged that this wine's quality will improve in the bottle. In terms of longevity, it will retain its quality for 10-15 years after bottling.
SERVE
Over time, a natural deposit will form in the bottle. After its 2nd year, it is recommended that this wine be stored vertically the day before it is opened, and decanted prior to consumption. Serve at 16ºC-18ºC.
ENJOY

Grown on mineral soil on the deep slopes of the Mosel Valley, this wine benefits from longer exposure to sunlight. It's taste is lively and fresh, with pleasant sweetness, crisp and lively on the palate.
Moderately light-bodied with aromas of Granny Smith apples, our Kabinett is crisp and lively on the palate. Perfect on its own or as a complement to mild cheeses, salads, shellfish and poultry.
